Casa da Música (House of Music) is one of the main rooms of Port concerts, is a place of mandotry passage for those who visit Oporto.
It is a building which was built next to the Rotunda da Boavista, where was formerly used to collect and repair electric cars circulating through the city of Oporto.
The initial estimated cost for the Music House without accounting to the value of land, was 33 million euros, however, made summation of all, turned out to be around 111.2 million euros.

The large auditorium Suggia room, honoring the famous Oporto musician Guilhermina Suggia, has an initial capacity of 1238 places, but can vary according to the occasion and the event itself.
The small auditorium is able to adapt, so it is not referred to a fixed number of seats, although an average of 300 seats and 650 standing places can be set depending on the size and stage of the intended location for each event, the arrangement of chairs, the presence and sound equipment size and recording, and among many other factors.
At the top of the building can find a third space for shows, designed for 250 seats.

The ticket office is open until half an hour after the start of it.
